I like a cushy lifestyle and I love working easily and effortlessly. Some people thrive on struggle and use that as a motivator for success. I had to choose the one that was right for me.įor some people, they can hustle day and night and within a month, they’ve created a booming business. I had to stop convincing myself that there is only one path to success. I also realized I had to stop lying to myself. The time I got it right was when I realized that I can’t follow anybody’s else footpath and I have to listen to myself and create my own journey. I definitely do! This isn’t my first go around with creating a successful business. Do you have any words of advice for others who may want to embark on this career path but know that their dreams might be dashed? In fact, perhaps most people who tried to follow a career path like yours did not succeed. I thought it could be done alone, but it really does take a village - especially if you want to focus on what you do best and have others focus on what they’re good at - that’s how you succeed and grow.Īs an influencer, you have been blessed with great success in a career path that many have attempted, but eventually gave up on. I guess it was silly of me to think that at the time, but once I got serious and had goals set in place, I knew that I would eventually need to hire some help, so I did. I would say, in the beginning of building out NoB, I hadn’t really realized that it would take a team to help me build out the blog and the business. NoB is definitely successful based upon our collective work that we’ve done together, and what we continue to do!Ĭan you share a story with us about the most humorous mistake you made when you were first starting? What lesson or take-away did you learn from that? I love how I work with other creative women who love to put great content out into the world. I’m definitely grateful for my team at NoB! I have an amazing team of women that help me with crafting North of Bleu to what it is today. Is there a particular person who you are grateful towards who helped get you to where you are? Can you share a story about that? None of us are able to achieve success without some help along the way. There wasn’t any magic anecdote or anything like that, I credit my success with my company by just consistently providing quality content that my readers are interested in and love. We have many readers from around the world who are inspired by our content, and I can honestly just say that I’ve built NoB by being consistent. Little did I know that it would turn into the platform that it is today. In the beginning, it was primarily used as an online diary to talk about some of my favorite book recommendations or some of my favorite recipes and wines. Things I loved that I thought others might enjoy as well. Whether it be a new luxury hotel I stayed in or a place I would recommend to visit, I wanted to share those things online. During that time, I found myself wanting to express myself creatively and North of Bleu was primarily just a place where I could share some of the things I loved. Thank you for having me! I started North of Bleu as an online outlet in 2021 to share some of my favorite things. Can you share with us the backstory of how you came upon this career path and to where you are today? Thank you so much for doing this with us! Our readers would love to get to know you a bit better. North of Bleu has been voted as a Top 30 California Lifestyle blog and is the destination for women who are inspired by lifestyle, food, home décor and style content.

So how do we achieve both? This is the question I’m hoping to answer through conversations with high-achieving leaders and influencers who are practicing their own philosophies about how to maintain their wellbeing.Īs a part of our series about “ Social Media Influencers Share Their Top Self Care, Wellness, and Beauty Tips, I had the pleasure of interviewing Chloe Panta.Ĭhloe Panta is the founder and Blogger-In-Chief behind North of Bleu, a lifestyle company that curates content for the modern millennial woman.

And yet, in order to sustain the creativity, flexibility, mental acuity and resilience that are necessary for high performance, wellness and wellbeing of the mind, body and soul are also mandatory. The stress, mental energy, long hours, lack of restful sleep and preoccupation that result from a high-achievement life seem to directly inhibit wellness. At times it feels like wellness or elevating one’s well being, is diametrically opposed to high achievement and high performance in one’s career.
